The girl in the mirror cried at the meager offering

Trapped in charades in the house of the decadent

Moon shine, poisoned eye, the hall of paper evident

She stood screaming for 30 years. “They killed Charles, he didn’t hurdle the barrier.”

But it made no difference because they all read the express, liked the Knights of Arden and bought the hysteria.

An innocent man murdered, broad daylight, state sanctioned assassination, cups of tea illuminated nuclear.

Sad pretty girl, ignored by her own reflection, a parody of rejection. Broken floors and broken bones, actors in jumbo jets, slaves in mobile homes. Crumble and delay all this fades away, the silence will be wonderful.
