Welcome to the newly regenerated World Outside the Window – a creative studio shaped by music, writing, discernment, and the quiet rebellion of making things by hand.This space began life as a landing page for editors, a place to experiment, to prove I could write, to test out voices and styles. But even then, its heart was curiosity – the belief that there is a whole wide world outside the window if we just look. That ethos remains, the ideas have taken root and grown into something different.
Today, The World Outside the Window is a constellation:
Songs and stories, reflective practice and consultancy, cultural analysis and gentle mischief, all orbiting the same core curiosity; a commitment to paying attention to the world beyond our immediate frame.
I make music as Joker’s Flight.
I write fiction, essays, and the occasional hedgehog tale. 🦔
I explore discernment, theology, and the inner life.
I work with young people, communities, and practitioners through Rooted in Voice, helping build cultures of care, imagination, and co‑production.
Everything here is DIY by design, soft‑punk in spirit, relational in tone, and shaped by the idea that art and practice are not separate worlds but neighbouring rooms.
This studio is a home for all of it:
