Tom Petty – Rock and Roll Genius

I don’t usually respond to news so quickly but Tom Petty has died. He was a real genius and one more Travelling Wilbury has gone to the hall of fame in the sky.

American Girl is a song that I listen to regularly, it always cheers me up and it’s got me through some tough times.

His songs are uplifting but with a seam of melancholy. Thank you Tom. You will be missed.

My thoughts are with his friends and family.
