Welcome to the first ever World Outside the Podcast celebrating the written and spoken word. I have been wanting to try out recording my poetry and combining this with podcasting for a while now, but as we all know time is finite. However finally my day off coincided with some time to myself and I wrote, recorded and edited the first episode with a minimum amount of fuss. I hope you enjoy.
This episode features readings of The Corner and 80’s Revival. Future episodes will feature reviews and the work of other writers, established and new. This episode’s shout-outs are for The Gloucester Poetry Society and LSG Media, so be sure to check them out.
This first episode is a little loose around the edges but I will hone over the next few weeks. One thing to look out for is the episode ends abruptly, a gremlin crept into the editing suite and ate it. I tried to fix it but all you missed was me telling you my website address again.

I enjoyed the combination of poetry and music. I love the poem about your teacher. I was also inspired by a teacher. She loved poetry and encouraged me in everything I did in fifth grade. I’ll never forget her.
