An exclusive extract from Aardvark Tales the follow up to my e-book published last year. My daughter is illustrating (she is 13 years old) and she agreed I could share the above illustration, she describes it as a work in progress.
“Aardvark gazed out of the window in excited anticipation as the magnificent sky-ship unfurled its mighty sails. The HMF Nimbus was being prepared by the sky pirates for an adventure, its bubble engine purring in eager readiness.
Never an aardvark to miss the chance to see where his nose leads him, he popped his generous snout out of the window.
“Ahoy, Captain Samuel.” He called.
A new adventure was about to begin.”
