The damselflies are in distress
The cattle have left the graze
Who will charge into save them
A knight on a horse?
Or compassionate hands that will stay the course
Digging out trenches for waterways
That will see the dragon fly another day
Let’s not slay this beast so we can feast
Keep our takeaway containers and crimson soaked corporate burgers in proportion
Before the planet dies of exhaustion
