On Saturday I attended a talk and workshop called “Children’s Spirituality” It was a challenging and inspiring day and I came up with a couple of poems as I reflected on the day. I will post the second one tomorrow.
They learn not to reach out
and who teaches them?
Oh mutilate their spirit!
Praise those little fingers and open palms
More open than our own.
