This is a very tiny sample of A Cornish Tale, my new short story coming to you in 5 parts next week;
Safely tucked up in bed a storm held court in the heavens. The wind rattled through the rafters and the rain battered the windows. The radio clock by the bedside, suddenly flickered into life;
“I’ve seen storms and hurricanes and terrible things, so I just want you by my side”
Rex shot out of bed to the other side of the room to shut the radio off. Had they heard anything next door, his mind raced and he knew he only had a matter of minutes before they came for him…
