Never and Forever is the third and final book in Cressida Cowell’s fantastical Wizards of Once series. The author of the mega successful How to Train your Dragon books has found the magic formula once again creating a new set of characters to fall in love with.
It is irreverent, poignant and beautifully illustrated with Cowell’s distinctive style (a big inspiration in my attempts to illustrate my novel).
The story covers the themes of inclusion and belonging as well as celebrating the importance of friendship. I’d recommend this book for middle school readers or even the whole family. It is also great read out loud to dragon believing ten year olds.
Talking crows, evil king witches, wizards and warriors, the whole series is a blast of pure fantasy fun.
