There has been some thought provoking and extremely well written coverage on the subject of the “rough sex” defence over the last few weeks. As someone who has worked with survivors of domestic abuse I find this an alarming development, showing that some will stop at nothing to find a way of minimising abusive behaviour and blaming the victims.
