the crow croaks out his warning
the sands of time flow back as well as forward
even the stalwarts can tell you awkward
truths
The peaceful mother dozes, dreaming of her childhood German Shepherd
All we can do is stay with her as she travels from pain to bliss
enjoying the blessing of her sliding reminisce
