We are on half-term this week and always looking out for things to do that are friendly on the wallet. Today we headed to Gloucester cathedral where they are asking for people to help paint their colouring carpet.
You are encouraged to pick up a paint brush and paint. We knelt as a family and spent an hour in the cacophonous ancient corridors in blissful peace.
The carpet was specially designed by Amy Jane Adams inspired by the gothic vaulted ceilings in the cloisters. We had a lovely time and it was great to work together to create something to share with the community.
The colouring carpet is there all week and it’s free so it’s definitely worth checking out. Fun for all ages.
