A poem by my daughter (age 12). She composed this shortly after coming out of hospital in the summer.

I gaze out of the patio window, the border between in and out.

And I think to myself, what a fine divide between the natural wonders of creation and the advanced mechanics of human design.

An idea was taken, formed and developed. That one pane of glass divides it all. Curious though, that the other can be seen although it cannot be touched.

But if that window is opened, the possibilities are endless, inspiration flowing from out and from within.

All that is needed is for that one heart to move the one hand to the one divide between the two worlds.

One spark of unique inspiration can create a powerful flame.
