Here at The World Outside the Window we are celebrating and supporting the UN’s International Day of Peace, which is held each year on 21st September. Here is what the UN has to say about the day.
“The Day of Peace provides an opportunity for all humanity to come togeher, in spirit and in action, to forward the ideals of and conditions for peace. This global day is observed by hundreds of millions of citizens in cities, towns and villages worldwide, and thousands of NGOS, as well as citizens and governments, organise and engage in diverse peace-related activities on and around this global day.”
I will post several posts here throughout the day on the theme of peace and promoting the ideals of the Day of Peace.
