This morning I have enjoyed re-watching scenes from Star Trek The Wrath of Khan, something I have to do (it’s a hard life) as research for an article I have been commissioned to write.
I love this film, it is action packed but it still allows time for the actors to interact with each other. Making these well loved characters seem just as warm and real as they ever were. Wrath of Khan really is timeless. In today’s movies it is rare to see a blockbuster action film that allows big set pieces to play alongside quiet reflective moments, like the ones you get in Wrath where Kirk and McCoy discuss mortality and old age.
The article itself is coming along, of the 2400 words required I now have 2,340 and a nice cup of chai with golden syrup has helped me along.
