Do you have a quote you live your life by or think of often?
I have this picture on my study wall. I find Spencer’s depictions of Christ as an ordinary looking man very moving. In this scene his gaze is so honest and open and it portrays one of my favourite bible passages that forms part of the sermon on the mount from Matthew. It is a passage I find inspiring and think of often as I pray and meditate.
“Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow.They don’t toil, neither do they spin.” – Matthew 6:28
