It’s ok to admire
the smokers, the dopers, some call them no-hopers
it takes the edge off reality
I know this plan because I’ve rode this train before
It’s no gravy train
Or the last train to clarksville
although that’s about the last time I sampled the pipe
I prefer to see the world with clarity
instead of through alcoholic disparity
The thing is!
