This project started with a picture of a man on a bridge. Initially I didn’t know what it meant or where the image came from. I soon realised that it was a friend waving goodbye. Over the last few weeks I’ve been writing a song and sketching some additional drawings all reflecting on the themes of my original drawing.
I have also been meditating with the writings of Richard Rohr who wrote. “The distinction between natural and supernatural, sacred and profane, exists only as a mental construct.” Everything other than the spirit is just costume. He teaches that everything is sacred and we must seek being present.
All this thinking and tinkering has resulted in this video.

Deep and reflective. The scars of our thoughts often bring out great passion in our work. I felt this 🙂
