It has become fashionable for bloggers and writers to follow trends relating to social media hashtags. Some of these are driven by commercial agendas as they are started by TV/radio stations or news outlets and some are organic, done to promote a cause or creativity.

What has become a pattern for me is to pick up on these trends after they have become fashionable. I’m always late to the party (MySpace is new right?).

So here is my attempt to channel the Inktober zeitgeist (it started in 2009 and I found out about it yesterday)
